The Seattle Times, the Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper, is actively seeking a Newspaper Loader at our North Creek print facility in Bothell, WA. The “Loader” position (as it's fondly known here) is essential to handling pre-delivery duties, especially with transferring bundles of newspaper products into Transportation trucks in a safe and efficient manner. This role demands applicants have the physical ability to perform strenuous labor for extended periods of time, including repetitive lifting, carrying, loading and unloading of 25 lb. newspaper bundles. Successful applicants must have ability to work in fast-paced environment and communicate effectively in a team setting.
Pay starts out at $13.0673 per hour with additional safety bonus!
Based on seniority. Employee must be willing and able to work between 0 - 40 hours per week.
This role requires union-mandated dues be paid. Applicants must undergo a post-offer drug screen for controlled substances and physical capacities test as a condition for employment.
